After Church we went to Taid's and opened gifts with the Meredith side of the family. The kids loved all their gifts. We left about 10 PM and the kids fell asleep on the way home. But, when we got home, Everett woke up and WOULD NOT go back to sleep till about midnight. Santa is not his favorite person (scared to death of him) and Everett did not want Santa to come, even though we told him over and over again that Santa BRINGS PRESENTS! He cried that night before bed and he cried in the morning when he realized Santa had stopped by and filled out his stocking and under the tree. Oh boy! I am waiting for this "scaredy cat" stage to get over with real quick!
