Track Stars!

It was Homecoming weekend in New Ulm.  We had a good time at the parade, dinner, and the football game Friday night and woke up really early Saturday to run the Eagle 5000!  I ran/walked the 5k and the kids ran their first ever 1K (1/2 mile).  Ross and I could not have been more proud!  Claire ran with her friends Brooke and Calyn...with Everett not far behind!  That boy ran both laps around the HS track without stopping or walking.  It was amazing!  Some of the HS football players were out running with the kids to encourage them on and Everett really got a kick out of that and that the Eagle mascot was there too!  He has been wearing his "gold" medal all day with pride.
