Today we visited Grandma and Grandpa Lande for a BBQ and some fun at the beach. They live in a development with a lot of parks and man-made lakes. This summer the beach is a new feature. Claire was puzzled by all the sand...I don't think she has swam in something other than a pool since she was in the ocean as a baby! Everett was throwing sand and mud most of the time and destroying any castle my dad and Claire put together. Despite the clouds, the kids had a lot of fun. Can't wait to go back and try it on an even nicer day!
