Week 2 of Summer

The kids had a pretty busy week- Everett had soccer and t-ball & Claire had fast pitch, play practice, and basketball camp. Sorry about how bad the basketball pictures are...I have several more with even more motion blur.  I don't think I'd ever want to be a sports photographer!

 Everett and Claire had their yearly check-ups at the doctor this week too.  Both growing and healthy.  Everett is still off the charts with his 45 inches (3' 9'') and 55 pound physique. One surprising note is that EJ's BMI is starting to drop off in a good way.  He is losing all his baby chub. Everett had to have 1 shot at the doctor and we decided to do all the Kindergarten boosters too.  So the poor kid walked away with 4 "owies" in his legs and then had to go down to the lab for a blood draw.  Afterwards, the nurse was glad we did them all this year...it is pretty hard to hold down "He-Man" as it is at 55 pounds.   I'm glad to get them over with...but Everett still won't take off the last band-aid.  Must enjoy the reminder in some way.   Claire is still growing at 50 inches (4'2'') and did not have to have any shots this year.  A fact she did have to rub in to her brother once or twice.
